Legal & Calculation Disclaimers
Disclaimers outlining the limits of calculation guarantees and external API dependencies.
1. Accuracy of Automated Payroll Estimations
AccoNova calculates salary disbursements, EPF deductions, ESIC contributions, Professional Tax slabs, and TDS based on the tax configurations provided by the Employer. Due to differences in rounding methods, calculations may vary by minor fractions of a rupee compared to manual ledgers.
Subscribers must verify the generated ECR return files and Form 16 summaries before submitting them to official government portals. AccoNova is not liable for penalties resulting from inaccurate settings applied by the subscriber.
2. No Professional Advisory Relationship
The reports, calculators, and legal guides provided by the AccoNova platform do not constitute certified tax, legal, or chartered accountancy advice. Use of the platform does not establish a professional client-advisor relationship between you and AccoNova.
3. Third-Party Banking & Gateway Outages
Automated salary payouts and reimbursement transfers processed via AccoNova rely on external banking APIs and payment gateways. We are not responsible for disbursement delays, transaction failures, or processing hold-ups caused by outages on banking networks or payment gateway partner servers.
4. Statutory Filing & Government Portals Warranty
AccoNova facilitates file downloads matching ECR structures for EPF/ESI and Form 24Q for TDS. However, we cannot guarantee file acceptances if government portals (EPFO unified portal, ESIC portal, or TRACES) are undergoing system updates or experiencing servers down time.
AccoNova does not take responsibility for late filing penalties imposed by government bodies due to external system outages.
5. GPS & Geofencing Telemetry Accuracy Disclaimer
Our mobile geofenced punches rely on GPS signals, satellite triangulation, Wi-Fi router coordinates, and mobile hardware quality. AccoNova does not guarantee absolute precision in telemetry coordinates in regions with poor cellular connection or severe weather anomalies.
We advise configuring a grace area buffer (e.g. 50-100 meters) around your office geofence locations to accommodate minor hardware deviation.
